40x40 cm ~ Painting, Acrylic
My favorite autumn. I'm standing on the shore of a quiet lake on an October day. The trees are ablaze with fire—orange, scarlet, gold. Their crowns are reflected in the still water, as if doubling the beauty of the moment. The air is clear and fresh. Here, time slows down, and you can simply breathe in autumn.
Bright crimson colors before the quietly approaching withering. The foliage seems to burn with the bonfire of memories of summer, the warm sun. With this, it bids farewell and allows itself to be remembered by this beauty. And I want to remember it like this.
The work is executed using a rich, textured technique, where each brushstroke creates an almost tangible surface. The palette is built on warm autumnal hues: from bright orange and golden-ochre in the treetops to pinkish-brown in their reflections. Cool bluish-violet tones in the lower part create contrast and depth. The composition is divided into two zones: the upper part depicts an autumn forest with a richly textured canopy reminiscent of a living flame, while the lower part depicts a mirror reflection in the calm waters of a lake. Vertical streaks and soft washes create a sense of movement and fluidity.
The work balances between realism and an impressionistic interpretation of nature. The textured surface invites not only visual but also tactile perception, enhancing the emotional impact.
Ideal for a living room, bedroom, study, or any space that requires an atmosphere of warmth and tranquility. The autumnal palette creates a cozy mood and pairs beautifully with wooden interior elements and warm textures. The work looks especially stunning in natural light. A piece for nature lovers and those who find beauty in the changing seasons.
