40x40 cm ~ Painting, Oil
When I painted this picture, I wanted to embody in it the feeling of lightness, flight, even weightless-ness. To fly with a flower on the wings of the wind somewhere far, far away, to a completely unknown land. To break away from the ordinary. A breeze blew and the flower saw it off, and the petals tried to fly after it.
The image presents an abstract, swirling form rendered in warm tones of orange, yellow, and brown against a muted, dark background. The design appears fluid, with curved lines and layered shapes that evoke a sense of movement, almost like a flame or a flowing piece of fabric caught in motion. The bright highlights and gradual shading create a glowing effect, lending depth and a tactile quality to the piece.
This artwork might symbolize transformation or energy due to its fiery palette and dynamic structure. Its organic, wave-like curves resemble natural forms such as petals, muscles, or even geological strata, suggesting themes of growth, life cycles, or inner strength. The use of warm colors typically conveys warmth, passion, or vitality, enhancing the emotional intensity of the image.
Artistically, the painting combines elements of abstraction with natural inspiration, inviting viewers to interpret the swirling form as a representation of change, energy flow, or the complexity beneath seem-ingly simple surfaces. The lack of sharp boundaries and the blending of colors encourage a meditative, introspective reaction, making it a visually captivating and symbolically rich composition.
The painting will fit perfectly into the living room, where it will become a warm and bright accent of the interior.
