30x30 cm ~ Painting, Acrylic
I fly over the ocean's surface and see an island, its outline remarkably reminiscent of a bird suspended in flight. I want to descend and examine it closer. Lazy waves lazily lap the shore, dispersing into white foam. The transparent turquoise water allows a glimpse into the depths, and the foam shimmers faintly in the morning sun. Long rocky outcrops resemble plumage. It's quiet and peaceful here.
This work is an expressive example of abstract and textural art, combining dynamics and depth. The main dominant color is a wide range of blue shades - from deep ultramarine to light azure tones, creating an atmosphere of the underwater world or outer space. In the center of the composition there is an island, executed in warm brown-red tones with a pronounced texture.
I use texture paste and a complex technique of applying paint, which gives the surface volume and structural saturation, enhancing the feeling of movement and transformation. The contrast between cool and warm tones creates tension and balance, forcing the eye to move across the canvas, revealing new details with each viewing.
Compositionally, the painting evokes associations with natural elements - water, earth and fire - and, perhaps, symbolizes the dynamic process of the emergence of life or the interaction of the elements. This work shows the author’s desire to express deep feelings and philosophical reflections through abstract forms and color schemes.
The painting will decorate any room, creating a bright accent and a peaceful atmosphere.
