I painted this picture based on memories of the waterfalls of Switzerland and the volcano Etna. Several years have passed, but I still remember the powerful sounds of falling water and the amazing views of the volcano.
The picture is an expressive abstract image, made in a technique using rich textured painting. The main element of the composition are bright, fiery red cracks that seem to pierce the surface of the canvas, contrasting with the deep cold blue and light blue tones of the background. Such a contrast of color and texture creates a sense of movement and tension, as if a natural element is manifesting itself before the viewer - lava flows breaking through rocks, or energy lines destroying the calm of the surrounding space.
The texture and relief noticeable on the surface emphasize the depth and power of natural processes, possibly associated with earthquakes, volcanic activity or the inner strength of the planet. The painting is emotionally charged, it evokes thoughts about birth, destruction and rebirth - the cycles of life and matter.
